چکیده
We report dense lightcurve photometry, $BVR_{c}$ colors and phase - mag curve of (6478) Gault, an active asteroid with sporadic comet-like ejection dust. collected optical observations along the 2020 Jul-Nov months during which appear always star-like, without any form perceptible activity. found complex lightcurves, low amplitude around opposition a bit higher far opposition, mean best rotation period $2.46_{\pm 0.02}$ h. Shape changes were observed in phased lightcurves after probable indication concavities surface irregularities. suspect existence Amplitude-Phase Relationship $C$ band. The are $B-V = +0.84_{\pm 0.04}$, $V-R_{c} +0.43_{\pm 0.03}$ $B-R_{c} +1.27_{\pm 0.02}$, compatible S-type asteroid, but variables rotational index non-homogeneous composition. From our Shevchenko's empirical photometric system, geometric albedo result $p_V=0.13_{\pm lower than average value S-class. estimate absolute $V$ band about +14.9 this, together value, allows to diameter 3-4 km, so Gault may be smaller previously thought.

We examine the development of the active asteroid 311P/PANSTARRS (formerly, 2013 P5) in the period from 2013 September to 2014 February using high resolution images from the Hubble Space Telescope. This multi-tailed object is characterized by a single, reddish nucleus of absolute magnitudeH ≥ 18.98±0.10, corresponding to an equal-area sphere of radius≤200±20 m (for assumed geometric albedo 0.29...
متن کاملThe Hoomeister Asteroid Family: Inferences from Physical Data
Asteroid (1726) Hoomeister is the lowest{ numbered and probably the largest member of a small, very compact dynamical family. Up to now, the only physical information available on this family consisted of the comparatively low IRAS albedos of Hoomeister and two other family members. After discussing the properties of the family, we report on our own observations of the optical reeectance spectr...

Background. Execution of fitness testing in physical education classes is influenced by students’ motivation. Therefore, addressing new testing approaches seems necessary to more accurately measure student performance. Objectives. This study presents changes in fitness performance after applying a physical fitness tests battery (without external stimuli - WS) and with external stimuli (verbal ...
متن کاملPhysical properties of asteroid dust bands and their sources
Disruptive collisions in the main belt can liberate fragments from parent bodies ranging in size from several micrometers to tens of kilometers in diameter. These debris bodies group at initially similar orbital locations. Most asteroid-sized fragments remain at these locations and are presently observed as asteroid families. Small debris particles are quickly removed by Poynting–Robertson drag...
